Nightborne replacing blood elves?

So I get that nightborne are the new hotness, but it seems like all the roles that blood elves used to play are being completely taken up by nightborne in BFA. Thalyssra gets to go on the raid to Stormwind, Nightborne archaeologists are hanging around on the new continent instead of Blood Elves from the Reliquary, and Zulduzar has a nightborne encampment with a few Blood Elves hanging out in it.
Come on, we need more blood elves not less.
